Moody sky to incredible sky!

This morning I went with Tina to Driffield after morning prayers as she had an appointment at the bank. We had a quick coffee when we got there and then I went into a couple of shops and met her at the bank when she finished. Driving home the weather looked to be taking a turn for the worse, made nice skies though!

I actually brightened up and was a pretty nice day. I got on with wrapping when we got back and after lunch and have finished now I think!
I bought a seed feeder for the birds, I don’t usually give them bird seed because of the amount that grows, but the garden is so weedy it really doesn’t make much difference! This one looks like a lighthouse which is quite unusual. The only use I have seen it get so far is from a squirrel!
I had a package to send off and set out quite late, I intended to post a couple of local letters in houses as well but ended up only posting one of them. I was really struggling with legs and feeling exhausted but it was worth it as the sky started off really pretty and then just became amazing, I kept stopping to take more photos. I will post a fair few and they will speak for themselves.

Off to make a cuppa and watch Holby now.

  1. Nice to get out of the house if only for a short trip out. Always good for a few pics too. The skies do look a bit moody and not at all promising.
Good to get your wrapping finished. One more Christmas job out the way. Before you know it it’ll all be over and we’ll be looking forward to Easter!
The new bird feeder looks great. I’m sure the birds will come to like it, and the squirrels will soon get fed up if they can’t steal all the seed!
Your sky photos are amazing. Those colours don’t look real. The first one of the sea looks like it’s been taken with a mauve filter over the lens. The silhouetted ones looks great against those orange and pink skies too. That’s a great set of pics!

  2. Not a bad day and jobs done, so that is good.
Seeing the sky and its changes made it worth being out even though I was struggling.
