Strange times

It may have been Mothering Sunday but not as it has traditionally been! Tina was having a service to a fairly empty church and we had no plans to go out later because of the restrictions. It was a nice day so I wen out and worked a bit more on the large bed where the fruit bushes are. No before picture, and today I had to get three bramble roots out apart from all the other rubbish in there.
I took a picture of the rest of the fabulously decorated biscuit I received yesterday. They are very tasty so may not last a lot longer!
This afternoon I carried on with the Easter cards, using the cut outs to make extra ones. Quite simple but attractive.
After dinner the sky was nice, not too dramatic but a good way to finish the post.
I have changed the bedding and started the MRSA treatment which is over the next five days. That is presuming that blood pressure or Coronavirus don’t put a stop to the surgery anyway! I have been getting more than a little stressed with it all......

  1. You’re getting there with that bed. At least you’re only doing a bit at a time and not going mad and trying to do it all. It’s looking nice.
It’s such a shame to eat those biscuits! You’re awful 😊
The cards do look great. Quite a little production line you’ve got going there. Don’t think I even know 8 people I could send them too!
Well I suppose you’ll know for sure about the op one way or the other pretty soon. Out of your hands whatever happens. But looking on the bright side even if it doesn’t go ahead you won’t catch MRSA 😊
    Love the final pic tonight.

  2. If the surgery doesn’t go ahead the garden will certainly benefit, as I won’t be out and about for some time that’s for sure.
The biscuits look beautiful and taste really good too.
It was nice to use the cut outs as well as the embossed parts, so often the spare bits Don get used!
