Garden centre and odd jobs

I did take a few photos today but cleverly without a memory card in the camera! My previous camera told you there was no card but this one appears to be taking shots. I take the card out every night to do the blog and don’t always put it straight back in the camera, that is my feeble excuse!

Darren and I went to the garden centre today to have our sausage gap the young guy who served us was happy to give me a mug of hot water. We bought some seeds and a garden clock and I got a great little teapot reduced. Thought it would be nice to have my water in a teapot and use a cup and saucer, I had a nice cup and saucer at half me that I got at the charity shop.

I also have a fab little tea cosy that I got at a bazaar.

Very civilised, I am having a cup of water as I type.

Back to the day, I had taken a  photo of the compost made up from the blocks, but have planted up some veggie bags now. I did a bit of gentle hoeing in the garden and got the clock put up in the courtyard, picture tomorrow. Found a bird skeleton in the garden, most unusual, al other picture to follow!

I spent a lot of time this morning searching for my keys, I keep them in my coat pocket. It didn’t make sense as I had let myself in yesterday and hadn’t gotten enough out again. I eventually found them in the lining of my coat so will have to do some repairs this evening.

We also bought some fairies for the fairy garden, I stuck them onto pavers and took pictures! Talking of the fairy garden Anya and family got me a great fairy house made in the shape of a gourd. Ther is a story behind it as I have grown gourds before and Anya has a real aversion to them. It is a very cute house.

I may put it out tomorrow but I don’t think I have a paper to put it on at the moment.

Best get mending now, will try to do better tomorrow!
