A morning picture as the sky was pretty again.
This morning I walked up to Freeport to attend a course on felting. I have never tried it before so had no idea what it entailed but have liked the felted items I have seen. Today we were making a fox and I am pleased with the result for a first attempt.
Tina met me up ther and gave me a lift home which was nice. My replacement mystery parcel had arrived and this time I certainly got a bargain for my £20. One of the books is marked at £19.99. That bag is actually for a Christmas tree but I am sure I can find another use for it. Sadly the two lanterns both have one pane of glass cracked but that would be the fault of the delivery rather than the company.
I packed the fox into a little box and it is winging it’s way to someone who I think will like it. So another walk this time to the post office, then a quick look at the sea. Very dull and grey looking one way but quite a nice sky looking on the other direction.
Pictures of the evening sky to end the post.
One nightmare puzzle out the way, but I’m sure it won’t be the last! Good job you’ve got patience.
ReplyDeleteI love the fox. It’s just so cute and just looks good. I hope you try some other things using that technique as I’d really like to see the results.
The mystery box was way better than the original one. Shame the glass is cracked, but I’m sure you’ll build one out of the two. Hopefully you’ll make use of the herb book and have your own herb garden. I think you have enough room to fit one in 😊
Your seafront pic is very atmospheric, but I think the last two pics are great, in particular the last one. You have so many really great photos. I’m jealous 😊
Some good opportunities for pics, I enjoy having the camera with me to see what I can spot.
DeleteI enjoyed the felting, you do have to be careful and Aimee said swearing was allowed when you stabbed yourself. We all did but no one swore!
Very pleased with the mystery parcel this time, will have a browse through the books this evening.
