Memory card remembered!

Last night Tina threw a screwed up tissue. Blue’s favourite toy, into the bath. In she jumped and was happily chasing it around then posed for a better shot!
This morning I got this great photo in an email of the American flying formation troupe the Thunderbirds.
I will now put the picture of the garden clock we got yesterday.
It looks great on the blocked gateway.
I have planted carrots in these bag planters, they are in the walled garden so more sheltered.
Then the skeleton that I mentioned yesterday, I have never found anything like this before.
This morning I made some soup then this afternoon I took the gas up to the garden centre. Had a bit of lunch there and bought some more fairies, more bulbs and the weather vane that I had seen yesterday. Walking to the centre from the bus stop I wander up a hill and saw this fantastic tree stump, it must had been four to five foot across!
Walking back to the bus stop which is a good way, and I had a while before the bus came, I was thinking it would be nice if there was a seat in the shelter. When I got to it there was a brand new seat, that made my day! Back at home I assembled the weather vane and it is now on the lawn.
The other thing I bought for a princely £2.99 was a lovely little mini plant stand. Perfect for my mini poinsetttia.
Really must start sorting the craft stuff out tonight.

  1. Glad you remembered the sd card today! Blue looks so cute in the bath.....butter wouldn’t melt...yeah right.
That is a brilliant pic of the formation flying. The background makes it even better. A once in a lifetime photo for someone.
I really like the clock. The thermometer at the bottom seems to be working ok too. 11 looks about right. When you mentioned about the spring to me, I immediately had a pic of a long spring which threw me a bit. But now I realise the sort of spring you meant, the hairspring type like in a clock. It doesn’t seem as though that’s all you need, but it works on expansion and contraction with the heat. Isn’t technology wonderful, sometimes?
The bird skeleton was a great find. It obviously hasn’t been disturbed by larger animals to be so intact. Sounds morbid, but I think I’d have to try and keep it, or bits of it. Boiled up in some water it’d soon be clean and germ free 😊
You’ve managed to fit a lot of stuff in today, and found some bargains too, which is always good. I like the weather vane, and the little plant stand was a good bargain.
I wonder how many years it took for that tree to grow that size? Such a shame when they are cut back like that. I assume it’s dead.
Doubt you’ve got the energy for sorting after a busy day.

  2. I hadn’t even heard of the Thunderbirds and they are apparently one of the oldest flying formation jets in th world. Just heard of the Red Arrows!
I really like th clock and think it goes well in th walled garden. I had thought I should pick the skeleton up, seems a shame to live it ther to get trodden on.
I am pleased I went back and got the weather vane. And more bulbs to get in quickly!
