The One Drink One Month challenge has started!

Today I have begun a four week challenge to only drink water, no caffeine, alcohol or hot chocolate!! It is in aid of WaterAid, a charity I support that gets clean water and toilets to people who don’t have that basic essential. Today I have had some hot water and some straight from the tap, no headache yet, but will update as I go.
I have one picture from yesterday of Darren, Louis and Isobel enjoying a video game together.
This morning the sun was making the lamp across the road really glow, not sure the picture shows it that well.
I went out in the garden this morning, did some tidying, bulb planting and even some digging. Didn’t take any pictures but I am beginning to feel that this year the garden will be much better.
I have started the ‘orange’ jigsaw, I think it is going to be very challenging and will take some time.
I was trying no to find the lettering. Orange written in orange in many different languages!
I did some sorting and took three bags of stuff to the charity shop, always feel good when I shed rather than collect clutter....
Had a takeaway meal with Darren and Tina tonight and have just watched an enjoyable and not too gory Holby City.
Got a free craft class to attend tomorrow which should be fun.

  1. I really must try hot water to drink. I drink gallons of cold, but never hot. May give it a go tomorrow, if I remember. Hopefully the change of fluids won’t give you headaches. Fingers crossed. The month will fly by anyway. My months certainly do!
Well the lamp looks like it’s switched on and glowing well to me, so the sun was doing the job pretty well. Lovely colour for the sky.
Glad to hear the garden is becoming “slightly” more enjoyable. It’s still a big area to keep under control though. I don’t think you’ll be slacking at all. Not that you ever do.
That jigsaw looks enough to drive anyone nuts! I know you’ll get there in the end though. You like a good challenge, and that certainly is one!
Three bags to the charity shop means more room for incoming items...yayyy 😀

  2. I don’t think I need to be driven nuts, think I am already there!
Sometimes it is hard to see that you have actually, ade progress. It has been good working in the back as it has been a bit neglected with all the effort to get the front respectable.
