Garden centre buys

A short entry today, it has been really cold and apart from a trip to the garden centre and a quick walk to the shop I have been indoors pottering.
I had a nice wander round the garden centre within Tina and a friend had a catch up over a cuppa. I did get more bulbs, but not on offer, so they don’t need to go in until March at the earliest. I just thought a bed prepared and these mixed in together will be very striking.
There are so many garden ornaments these days, very expensive some of them too. There deer would look good in the right garden.
I bought this pack of tall primulas as they were quite cheap, maybe past their best but they should pick up when I get them in and they will grow year after year.
When I wandered to where the garden water features were they had one called ‘playful otters’ which I had seen at another garden centre. They had one in stock so that was a bigger spend than I had anticipated. Not a great picture as the box is in the garden store, will obviously put a better one on when it is unpacked and on the patio.
So, nothing else to say today, looking forward to Holby later.

  1. More bulbs. Arghhhhhh!!! 😀
They do look nice though and no rush to get them in which is good.
I like the look of the water feature, it’s definitely perfect for you. Worth a bit of an extra spend for something you really like.
Sounds like a pleasant day gallivanting and buying nice things. Would be nice if ever day were like that, but it’d get expensive!

  2. Yes, mor bulbs but a little time to get somewhere prepared to put them!
Better leave the cards at home next time I go to the garden centre. Will be nice to go for a coffee rather than water though!

  4. The water thing is beginning to wear a bit thin now, but will keep going until Friday.
