Skies and more gardening

This morning the weather was cold but lovely and the sky went through some changes.
I walked along to the library to go to the games group. Nobody there when I arrived so I played some games of patience.after half an hour nobody else had arrived so I walked through the park and came home.
Tina and I took some paper and my old microwave to the tip. The microwave has been in th kitchen and now I have been able to move things a bit, it was behind the butchers block, and now I can reach my cupboards more easily.
After lunch I went out into the garden, it was cold but I soon warmed up. I made a start on the area in front of the summer house, we plan to extend the lawn there eventually.
No tree roots but a lot of the white roots like the other bed, also loads of bulbs. Some are the invasive Spanish bluebells so I have disposed of them butthere  were daffodils which I put to one side. The Rodin came to see me again, it flew off as I took this but will post it to prove it is still keeping me company.
I gave up after a while on the digging so that I could get the latest bulbs planted.

I did get the bulbs I bought yesterday and also all the daffodils that I had put to one side. Will finish today’s post with the church just before I came in.

  1. Great skies as usual. I think my favourite is the third one. The one at the end, of the church nicely makes bookends for the day on the blog.
Looks like the middle of the day wasn’t wasted either. Even though no one turned up for the games group, it meant you got out for a walk. You did a fair bit of gardening too. Probably too much digging!! At least you had your little friend for company. I hope you found some dinner for it while turning over the soil.
Feet up all evening is it? Daft question, of course it won’t be 😊

  2. I liked the third one best as well.
Hopefully someone else will come along to the games group next week.
Definitely making headway in the garden slowly but surely. The weather has been good for getting a bit done.
May drive myself mad doingg some jigsaw!

  3. You need to be mad in the first place to even start the jigsaw 😊
