Fab sea and more robin pics!

The effect of the morning skies on the lamp always make me take a double look.
I went out this morning to get weekend groceries and meat but detoured is the sea front. Fabulous sea today so will post three shots.
When I went to get the veggies they had a couple of trees over from Christmas, I asked how much they were and he said he would get a price for me so said I would call back later.
I had a good spell in the garden and the robin appeared as I made my way to the greenhouse, he must nest of hang around in the garden!
As you can see the mealworms are a hit and he was in and out of my trug all the time I was out there. Except of course when I went to empty the weeds into the garden bin then he was on the newly dug soil! Walking up to the bin I saw that the snowdrops are rally coming on.
I am getting on well with the area I am digging, it is good that the weather has been good enough for me to crack on.
I went over to the veg shop again and ended up buying both the trees at a reduced price. Do like to rescue a Christmas tree if I can.
This evening I have done a bit more to the puzzle. A way to go but I will get it done - eventually!

  1. That’s a great pic of the lamp. It does look like it’s on. The sea looks really choppy today. I bet you had to stay well back from the wall.
The robin is so cute. He doesn’t look a bit bothered that you’re there. If he eats all those mealworms he’ll be a bigger robin soon with all that protein! Great photo opportunities though.
You’re doing well with the digging. It looks a nice bit of soil now it’s minus weeds. Those Christmas trees look in a slightly better condition than the ones you usually rescue. Make sure you check them for plastic ties.
That must be half the puzzle done now. Should be a doddle with less bits 😀

  2. It was a good day really, bit of sea and bit of robin watching whilst digging.the robin turns up as I arrive in the garden and flits about but isn’t at all bothered when I chat away to him.
I don’t know if I will get that digging finished tomorrow but I won’t go all the way up to the summer house, at the moment trying to prepare an area to extend the lawn.
The puzzle doesn’t seem to be getting any easier just yet!
