Sorting and gardening

I seem to have been busy today but don’t have a great deal to show for it.
This morning I went out to do a bit of shopping and got some storage boxes from the Factory shop, as I am still determined to get my craft stuff into some sort of order.
I have been neglecting the front garden, to be truthful it is depressing me the mount of weeds everywhere and weeding is the hardest part of gardening for me. But I spent a couple of hours and have managed to tidy up the fairy garden. I didn’t take a before photo but take it from me it was full of little weeds!
When I was sorting a found a couple of bits for the fairy garden and as luck would have it I had a spare paving slab!
Nothing much else to say today, have v started filling the new boxes!
Dinner is eaten and cleared way, so a bit of tv now I think.

  1. You’ll miss all the sorting once you’ve got everything organised. Or maybe not, although I’m sure you’ll find plenty of other things to do. Crafting should be easy once you know exactly where to lay your hands on stuff.
I’m not surprised you find the garden depressing. It’s way too big for you to be maintaining on your own. You need help from the other residents to keep the weeds down. Drag them out and give them a kneeling pad and something to put the weeds in! You’ll never be able to keep it looking nice on your own with no help, and I know if the weeds start taking over you’ll get even more depressed. Delegate, divide and conquer!
The fairy garden looks nice after a bit of treatment, but that’s a couple of hours of hard work.
Hope you’ll spend the WHOLE evening with your feet up.

  2. Definitely a feet up evening. Nice to be able to tell where you have been though.
I am pleased with the craft sorting progress, I just have sooo much stuff!
Best make sure I start some of it up now!
