Between reading I did go out in the garden this morning, I have finished digging the area to be grass seeded, trod it down and levelled it off. I will have to do a second dig to remove as many more of the weeds as I can. There was a smallish tree trump to remove and the robin was soon on th dug area when I moved away.
After lunch I went for a walk around th block, I thought this house looked stunning today.
On the way back I took this church from a different angle from other photos I have taken of it.
I have put out the new gourd fairy house and the fairies that I have collected.
I bought a pot as a new home for my large fern, as it was plain I decided to decorate. Now done so I can try and move the fern tomorrow!
The robin is going to miss you when you’re not out there digging every day. Although I’m sure you’ll still go out and feed him. Can’t believe you’re still getting out roots that size! It’s looking good though.
ReplyDeleteWow, that house does look stunning in that light with the nice blue sky. I’d like to live in that.
The fairy garden has really grown. Definitely a talking point for any visitors to the house.
What with the pot painting too, which looks great, quite a busy day. Just the way you like it 😊 Hope you’re not aching too much this evening.
Not aching too much and nice to have got some jobs done.
ReplyDeleteNeed to get a bit of ending done in the fairy garden, in fact every bed in both gardens need weeding!
The blackbirds hop onto that dug bed when I am out of the way. Definitely the birds friend at the moment!
