Penguin and trip to Hull

Yesterday evening I started another piece of felting, a penguin, and I finished it off this morning.
The snow drops in the front garden are opening up, I obviously managed to replant quite a few. Shame about the leaves and weeds, must get out the front and start clearing them.
After lunch I caught the bus into Hull, I had a voucher to use and a cheque to pay in. I am getting used to the lengthy bus journeys now, do not off sometimes though! Walking through the city I noticed these red patches,it was created by the traffic lights but not quite sure how, presumably the position of th sun?
A few shots around the town, I particularly like the pub in the third one.

I did a bit of shopping and had some fruit loaf toast with my hot water! Then caught the bus home, I was actually on buses longer than I was in town.
I watched one of the Icon programs last night and have watched one of the previous ones this evening, very interesting and informative. Catching a bit of Holby now.

  1. He’s soooo cute. Just thought of another one to make, a puffin.
A bus trip every now and then can be fun...ish. At least you don’t have to make it too often. Plus it gives you pic opportunities.
The red lights are quite funky, but like you my favourite is the pub. Very colourful and “standoutish”.
Fruit loaf toast sounds good. Probably about the only thing I’ve NOT eaten today 😀
Feet up and telly is a perfect end to your day. Although you could choose something more lighthearted than Holby!

    1. I am going to a class again on Friday and it is a shorter session and we are doing birds I think.
I don’t mind the bus journey occasionally, it is quite a pleasant route.
      Watching another Icons now.
