Haven't done a great deal today, my knee was troublesome in the night but I did do quite a lot of walking yesterday so not really surprising, I will hopefully strengthen it up as I do more.Tina and Darren had a wander round the shops in Beverley before they came home yesterday. A few fruit bushes for the garden, very cheap, so not a big deal if they don't take and a set of very silly, but ultra cute, little piggy bank erasers for me! The little coins even come out.....
I went out to the greenhouse, nothing happening on the seed front yet. I noticed the other day that I hadn't put the second shelf straight on the staging, so managed to get it turned over and corrected it. Need it to be straight when I plant up loads more seeds in a few weeks. Did a few household chores and got dinner prepared for later. It was frosty to start but then the snow came, very light to begin but was pretty steady for most of the afternoon.
The forecast has said it will clear by tomorrow and be warmer, that will be good if it is right. This one of the trees I took because I love winter trees anyway but like it even more when they are kissed with snow.
I sewed tapes onto a hand towel and tea towel so now the hook is being used.
Blue is sleeping on my bed at the moment but a little while ago she was doing her very best to get some attention from me, which of course succeeded!
Will go down and watch Vera with Darren and Tina later. Depending on the weather I may get into the garden for a bit tomorrow.
Sorry the knee is giving you trouble, but at least it made you stay in for a day of relative rest compared to your normal hectic schedule. I’m sure you’ll make up for it as soon as possible and beat it into submission again.
ReplyDeleteThe erasers are very cute and definitely very you. I can see why they got them for you. Really would be a shame to use them.
We’ve had a fair bit of snow here today. It was getting quite deep at one point until it started to rain. Not looked lately, but it’s probably all gone now. No doubt it’ll be like a glacier out there tomorrow.
Is that the cats “me, I could never do anything wrong” look? :-)
Something like that with Blue, she does like to roll about and have you take notice of her. All fine as long as you don't actually pick her up!
ReplyDeleteWon't use the erasers, much too cute.
I am hoping the snow will be gone in the morning.
