I’ll do the pics in order and before and afters, they don’t look a lot different.
The grass is pretty dead!
I have been turning out another cupboard, lots of Christmas stuff, jigsaws and a seriously depressing amount of my artwork from over the years!
I already have another pile of stuff ready for the charity shop!
I popped put to see Sher and Haley at Number Nine for a chat and to see if they both wanted Christmas cakes again this year.nthe answer was a resounding yes! I need to start working out the ingredients I need so knowing how many cakes is necessary.
Saw this butterfly on the church wall on the way back.
After lunch I walked to see Jean via the sea as usual.
We have had some light rain so no need to water tonight. I thought of going in the garden again tonight but thought better of it!
I would say is that it now for new plants! But I think I already know the answer to that question! I quite like the dark leaf plants. I think they make the bloom stand out better. Everyone's grass is pretty much dead at the moment. Good job it's resilient and will soon green up later on.
ReplyDeleteThe artwork you've done over the years shouldn't be depressing, you should enjoy looking back at it. I do understand the quantity is probably overwhelming though!
Oh my, is it Christmas cake time again! It doesn't seem that long since you were thinking about them last year. Now that could be depressing!!! So what number have you finally come up with?
I've not seen many butterflies about this year yet. not even a cabbage white.
The sea looks nice. I do envy you being able to stroll along side it. Quite cheering.
Good idea staying in this evening. Watch a gardening program instead......or for a change you could do some sorting.
I haven’t checked with everyone yet, forgot to say that Jean would like me to make one for her again this year.
ReplyDeleteI still have a few plants to get in but may still get some more.
It is lucky to be able to walk by the sea.
Watching Emma play tennis at the moment.
