An arty entry!

Darren and I went to the boot sale today but there were very few traders so we had a wander round the market wi hitch made a nice change and had our breakfast sandwich at a different stall. The lake there is really quite attractive.
We had an early dinner today as Tin had afternoon meetings and this afternoon I have had tennis on while I sorted through what seemed like reams of artwork. These were mostly in artwork cases, I still have a lot of more recent stuff to sort through. I photographed quite a few pieces, some different mediums and subject matter. The self portrait was done over sixty years ago, also the pen drawing of a man, the pineapple and the sculpture are also that vintage! There are a couple done in China and one done in Africa. The portrait was done when I was doing them to rise money for the volunteering in Africa.
So here goes…..the frost on is some of the chaos I created!
My ankles are still swollen and sore but it is due to having about half a dozen bites on one and a very large red are on the other presumably also a bite!
Will wear socks when out in the garden for now!
As I said before , if you have a burning desire for of my artwork let me know!

  1. I think the booters are all conspiring to stop you buying stuff. They know you’re on a sorting mission 😊
That is a bit of chaos and bet there’s far more to come. You do have some great artwork though. I think it’s great to be able to look back at stuff you created sixty years ago! There’s so much detail in the buildings. Is that the waterworks I recognise? Out of all the ones you’ve uploaded tonight, my absolute favourite is the caravan. I love it. It’s my style of drawing. Beautiful. I’ll definitely give it a home if you want rid of it. Same goes for Kew Gardens.
Rather than wear socks, just stay out of the garden 😂 I know, I’m not funny.

  2. I will put them on one side for you. The Kew Gardens one is quite old and the paper a bit faded, but still recognisable.
The pieces are all packed away for now so will have to fine something else to sort out now!
It is nice to see such old pieces but reminds me just how old I am!
