Slow start but it got better!

I was in a can’t be bothered mood this morning after a disturbed night and not feeling too well when I went to bed. But I showered nd got dresses in ‘going out clothes’ although I wasn’t going anywhere. That did improve my mood. Last night I had counted my various jars of different coins to get some bags ready to take to the bank this morning, I had been collecting the 5p coins in a small milk bottle and it surprisingly held over £15.
I had ‘sensible’ earrings today to go with the look and the lady in the banking head seed what I was wearing as usual and commented ‘they are nice but I am not used to it!’ On the way back I took a photo of a bee in a lavatera flower.
And a small on the bench!
I did some washing and got it out on the one and pressed the material for the trousers and started pinning the pattern on.
The new hedge trimmer arrived before lunch and I put it on chart and it said it only took and hour. I cut the trouser pieces out after lunch nd then went out to try the new tool.
I cut a mass of stuff in not time and the trimmer handled well, was light and just what I hoped it would be. I trimmed the bay tree but hadn’t taken before photo. I had to move the fairy house as there were levels and branches all over them.
Still some leaves, bending down isn’t my easiest move! Will see if Tina knows where the leaf blower is!
Been to see Sarah and David this evening, just had a bit to eat and feeling in a much better mood!

  1. I have a lot of can’t be bothered days. Maybe I’ll try the going out clothes and see if it works for me. You never know 😊
You’ve been collecting coins for years. I remember you starting a 5p bottle years ago. It took you forever to fill it. Good idea using using a smaller bottle 😊
I can’t believe you went in the bank with “normal” earrings! They’ll think you’re ill.
The bee pic is very very good. You must have a steadier hand than I have these days.
Very sedate pattern and colour for your new trousers. You’re not turning “normal” are you? πŸ˜‚
The hedge trimmer looks a good size. You’ll want to cut everything down now. The bay tree looks a lot better after a trim. Just don’t even think of standing on steps with it to get the top bit. I know what you’re like πŸ˜ŠπŸ€• If you can’t find the leaf blower then what you need is a vicar with a rake πŸ™‚
Again you’re better than me because you’ve only had a bit to eat, whereas I’ve had far too much!
I’m really pleased your mood has lifted. Are you wearing going out clothes again tomorrow?😊

  2. That Dimple jar held bout £70 of 5p coins. It got broken when I managed to tip the chest of drawers over! I have a bigger milk bottle to fill next time! Must wear a silly pair of earrings next time I go to the hub.
That material was reduced, it has quite a shiny surface was will be fun to sew!
I love the new tool, can’t wait to get attacking all the jungle like areas!
Tina has already said that she or Darren need to trim the top of the bay tree.
Was very pleased with the bee photo.
Hopefully I will feel okay in the morning and won’t need to dress differently!
