There was a single toadstool on the corner lawn!
I did tidy the bed along the edge as well, but only roughly.
I decided to go and see Sher at the shop as I was wearing the necklace she made for me as it went with my colourful t shirt. Had a cuppa with her and a natter. The pinnacles on the church have been under repair and the men have now started removing the scaffolding so I took a couple of pics. What a fantastic job they heave done.
Tina went to a village fete this afternoon, got a lovely new cordyline for the garden and a pair of earrings for me,
I sat and started sorting the edge pieces of the jigsaw this afternoon, I think it will be quite a tricky one!
Now lots of pics of files and hover flies, stop now it if you don’t want to see them!
I think the spellchecker fairies were having a laugh at your first paragraph, as apparently you left some dead elves in that bed 🙂 I said the other day you were the queen of reviving half dead plants! I get loads of toadstools/mushrooms on my back lawn. Some of them grow to 6 inches or more across the top!
ReplyDeleteWell the new trimmer definitely works. The bush looks a lot tidier now. I bet it was a lot quicker and easier than using shears too.
The top of the church does look good. I can't remember how it looked before. I'll have to find a pic. I bet that wasn't a cheap job!
I love the earrings. The ladies in the hub will definitely approve 😂 The plant will fill another bare spot in the garden that the weeds now live in.
The jigsaw looks a bit of a nightmare one to do. You'll start hallucinating if you spend too much time doing it!
I'm glad I looked at all the pics and didn't stop as you suggested. You've got some crackers today!
I have corrected that sentence, thanks for proof reading it for me.
ReplyDeleteThe hedge trimmer is very good and I haven’t had to charge it again yet.
The pinnacles were in very bad shape, that is why it has been taking so long,
I think I will put the cordyline in a pot for now.
I was pleased with the photos but realise bugs are not everyone’s cup of tea.
