Sea and garden

Once the shopping had been delivered I set off to the post office to send a package and then walked up to the se front. It was a lovely morning although the wind still had quite a bite.
The tide was in and it was splashing against the se wall. I tried to get a picture of the spray but was facing the sun nd couldn’t see what I was taking, so no spry but an arty shot!
I bought some tubigrip on the way home a my ankle is still painful. I did use n ankle support yesterday but it was so tight is was cutting off my circulation! After lunchI went out to feed the birds, freshen the bird baths and then back to the flower bed I was working on.
A couple of primulas in one of the other beds.
Taking some rubbish to the back of the garden I spotted this large boulder in an ar that gets completely overgrown in the summer.
Not a good clearance of the bed but looking a lot today.

The sky was glowing behind the church as the sun was setting.
I did try to stay in bed last night but was transferring to the recliner at 2am. So not a great night again, and the almost permanent tiredness is back. Not that I am complaining but it means I am less inclined to be productive in the evening. The boot sales start again tomorrow so we will go long and see how many turn up.

  1. The front looks very nice in the pics. It was a lovely morning here too and didn't seem too cold. Nothing as nice as the sea to look at here though 🙁 I tried to get some sea spray pics at Blackpool last week but didn't have any luck.
Doesn't sound like the gardening is helping the ankle, or the knee come to that. But I know you want to get stuff done. Just try not to overdo it too much.
Not seen a church silhouette for a while. That's a nice one.
Hope you manage a better night tonight and feel a bit less tired tomorrow.

  2. It was a lovely day and the se was at its best in the sunlight.
May gets some seeds planted today and not so much gardening. Out to Boot sale anyway and making a pie for dinner so not so much time to overdo it in the garden!
