Talking to Anya this morning she said there had been Lego nimbostratus in Queensgate, and they really re quite spectacular.
My ankle has been sore today so just feeding the birds and a trip to the nearest shop was about the sum of exercise. I did cut out some material to cover the cushion of the foot stool. Great material from Zimbabwe.
Much of the afternoon was spent watching old detective programs with my feet up, but did sit at a table for a bit to paint the seahorse. Used pale colours so hope it turns out okay.
The first amaryllis flower has opened.
More lazing around this evening!
A shame about the weather, but at least you got out for breakfast.
ReplyDeleteI saw the Lego animals in queensgate and thought of taking pics for you, but I guessed Anya would as she did some for you once before, so I gave it a miss. They were very good though.
Glad you've had a bit easier day today. I think you were ready for a break from the digging!
The seahorse looks nice, I look forward to seeing it after firing.
Queensgate is a great space for that sort of display, bet they were great to see close up.
ReplyDeleteIt rained again last night so I imagine the garden will be boggy. Seeing Jean later so probably wouldn’t have got out there anyway.
