Stunning Peterborough sky!

Will start with some photos sent to me yesterday evening by Rachel, quite some sky!

This morning I went to the boot sale with Darren as usual, I liked the colour of this car!
Did get a few bits, cheap day again though, loved the little duck for a pound.
Darren spotted the butterfly and thought it would look good on the summer house.
Darren then dove us to the front where we had a hot chocolate and I took pics of the sea,

I had mentioned to Darren that the sixth puffin was up near the inshore lifeboat boat. I didn’t ask him but he drove up there and managed to find a parking space. We saw the tractors and a boat being launched first!

Then puffin number six!

I spent some time in the garden, weeded the main beds in the front and then should have taken a before picture of the bed in front of the house as it was full of big, dead plants and thistles and nettles! The after shows what. I removed, took two wheelbarrows jammed full to move it. There was a large thistle in the gravel and was pretty chuffed when I got the root out, had to twist it out as couldn’t did as the gravel is deep,

I did walk down to the post office, I had a parcel to mail to America but the lad was new and couldn’t find the customs form. If I have time I will try again tomorrow! Walked back via the park and took a couple of photos.

After dinner I watered the front garden, will water the back after McDonald and Dodds. Have got my case pretty much packed, going to be a busy day tomorrow!

Glad you saw a bit of lovely sky.
The bed really was a mess, not a lot better now, but not three foot high dead weeds anymore!
