Also yesterday evening Tina brought home the posters that are going to be put out tomorrow, no pressure on the garden looking it’s best then!
This morning Bel came round to visit which was good, also Steve and Dave were in the garden starting to put up gazebos for the garden party tomorrow.
I had done a bit of gardening before Bel came and did some more before lunch, just finished off hoeing and edging the flower beds.
This afternoon I visited Jean, we had a a laugh as usual and she was very pleased with the wedding card I made her.
This evening I finished off outside and have felt awak enough this evening to try sketching the hydrangea head.
The fair is in the park and very, very loud, was going to take pictures but I did the watering this evening and had been deafened enough by the noise and couldn’t face going round and getting nearer to it. I will take some shots tomorrow, probably of the parade as well.
Yes you are a soft touch. Boot her out! 😊 Sounds like you've been busy today. I'm betting the garden will look lovely tomorrow after all the work you've put into it. Hopefully you'll get some compliments for it. The cream tea looks good and very good value for money. Funnily enough I'm having a cornish cream tea tomorrow. Hope it's as good as yours looks. The fair will be good for few pics, but they do get a bit noisy. Ear plugs maybe 😀
ReplyDeleteI have done the best I can with the garden, the grass is more brown than green, but not much I can do about that! Will take pics tomorrow when it is all set up and ready to go.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your dream tea tomorrow.
