Beverley garden centre visit.

This morning when I first opened the curtains the sky was very moody looking, it felt pretty cold too.
I went down the road to post a card to my friend and went into Missy, a local shop to get a birthday gift that needed to be mailed as soon as possible. Came home, wrapped and packed it and then went to the post office and mailed it!
I looked out of the landing window and noticed the leave had gather d in convenient piles, but didn’t go out this morning as I was due to go to Beverley garden centre with Brian and Ellie.
It was a good trip out, there is a very good craft section there so spent a lot and not a plant in the trolley! We had a drink and cake while we were there and had a bit of a look round the general food and gift areas as well.
It was still light when I got home so did go out a do a little bit in the garden. The leaves look so pretty but there must be thousands if not millions. I hav filled about a dozen sacks now.
I will hopefully get out there again tomorrow after I have had my interview at the Living Well project.
The photo I took of Tina and the HUGS team got into the local paper that was delivered today.
As I started with a sky picture I will finish with one as well today.

It has been quite a bright day but a very cold wind, think it should be dry tomorrow.

  1. I love the first pic. As you said very moody sky. The streetlight just adds nicely to the picture.
That was nice of the wind to pile the leaves up for you. Maybe if leave a couple of sacks out there it’ll blow them in for you 😀
Glad you had a nice trip out, and craft stuff is so much better to come home with than gardening stuff!
It’s good you got the pic in the paper, but I can’t see any acknowledgement that you were the photographer. That’s very naughty of them.

  2. Tina did mention me though which was nice.
That sky was just fabulous this morning, very atmospheric.
Getting way too much craft stuff again, better make sure I make lots of stuff!
