This morning my knee was really no better, even phoned the doctor but have an appointment on 23 rd May! Tina gave me a lift into town as I wanted to go to the post office and needed to get out and walk about a bit rather than be indoors really fed up! This flower bed near the post office was getting well buffeted as the wind is up again today.
I did wander along Huntriss Row to have a look at the south bay. This picture taken from a pretty area near the top of the cliff lift.
Then one of the south bay.
As I turned back I looked up at The Royal and what seemed to be an eating area that overlooked the bay. That would be a good view and it is a nice building too.
The man at the sewing shop, who calls me the spider lady, was looking up spider rucksacks for me the other day. Didn't get the one he really liked which was a corset, but did order this one. It is a better shape and has more compartments than the one I use, so a good buy. Will make sure I am using it next time I call in at the shop!
I have been doing some de-cluttering but also sat and read for a while as I was still aching quite a bit. I finished this second book that I got in Stamford on my birthday.
It was a fun read, I have already started one that Tina got for me, she has been listening to it on Radio 4. I will no doubt be in tears later when I watch Gareth and the Invictus choir.
I can't believe you have ot wait so long for an appointment. I must just be lucky with my doctors. Hopefully the wait will be worthwhile.
ReplyDeleteI'm undecided as to which bay I prefer. I think the South Bay as there is more going on to photograph, but the north bay is nice for a walk on the beach. I suppose you have the best of both worlds really.
Love the backpack, although I don't think I'd get away with wearing it! :-)
I agree, both the bays have their own plus factors, guess I prefer my end really, although I enjoy a wander along the south bay as well. hopefully will be pain free before the appointment, ever the optimist!!
