The sun continued to be dramatic yesterday evening after I had done the blog.
This morning I parcelled up one of my quilts to send to America and wrote a couple of letters. Darren gave me a lift into town to be near the post office which was great. I was meeting Anne and her mum at The Grand a bit later. It has been a bit drizzly today but most of the time still dry. That much need rain is still missing us. This was the south bay on this damp morning.
As I walked home there were plenty of rain looking clouds, but still it didn't happen!
This afternoon I needed to rest my ankle (not that it really appears to help that much) so got the emblems drawn onto the square.
I have started doing the embroidery now, not a quick job as they are quite small images.
You still manage to get decent sky pics even when it's really overcast. I like the one with the houses in the foreground. I know the garden is desperate for a good watering, but make the most of the half sensible weather, it'll probably snow next week!
ReplyDeleteThe square is coming on. The emblems look like they'll be a nightmare to stitch! Your eyesight is obviously a LOT better than mine!
I like the skies, especially with clouds as it adds interest. Have started the embroidery, you could say they are a bit fiddly!!
