Catching up

Friday is Bel and Jean day. Bel was struggling a bit with an aching back and recovering from a mix up with her medication meaning she was with some tablets for a few days. But she was hoping to go off and have her hair done this afternoon as usual. I went to the sh on the way back to get some Nytol, worth a try! Before I went out Tina took in a delivery of very tiny plug plants for the eco garden. The lady that runs the eco garden is away and Tina was off out to York. So she carried them down to the greenhouse for me nd I said I would bet them unpacked and watered. So went down to the greenhouse when I got home.
I haven’t got much space left in the greenhouse, gad to move a few things to get the trays on a work surface. They are very tiny plugs and an awful lot of them so didn’t try to get them planted on, but they are unpacked and have a drink now.
Jean was suffering with her back too and she had sore feet, but she is happy that her daughter and grandsons, plus dog are now moving back to their flat after being with her for almost a year.
I did take a picture of a flower bed while I was in the garden as the tulips are opening as the daffodils fade!
Haven real done much else, I am enjoying the book I am reading. Tina and I might go out for an evening drive when the shopping has been delivered.

  1. A day for aching backs from the sounds of it. Bel does very well for her age. I bet Jean will be really glad to get her house back. She’ll notice the peace and quiet once they’ve moved out.
Blimey, those are tiny little plants! I think unpacking them was more than enough. Planting would have been a bit much. At least they’re watered and alive 🙂 The flower bed looks really nice and pretty weed free too. Definitely worth the effort when you see it like that.
I hope you managed to get out for the evening drive as it’d be a nice way to finish the day.

  2. It was getting towards being dark but we hid have a drive out and were rewarded by the dusk night life, a few little partridges or quails at the side of the roads, maybe drinking from the puddles, a rabbit and bats overhead getting the bugs. So yes, a nice way to finish the day.
