I decided I would make a start on the very overgrown bed where the bird feeders are.
I cut back some of the rhubarb and took a good bundle of it to the save and weigh shop over the road. They were delighted as they had just been talking about rhubarb crumble!
Having a break sitting on the garden swing Blue was roaming through the grass, so a different feeling friend today!
Taking some rubbish to the back of the garden I spotted a currant bush amongst the nettles. Not sure how one appeared there, maybe the birds!
These little flowers are so pretty at the front of a bed.
I worked on the bed well into the afternoon and although there will still be plenty of weed roots it looks ready for planting now!
The lawn has been mown today so Blue won’t feel she is in a mini forest when she walks across it now!
I visited David and Sarah and used the rollator as they are interested in maybe getting one before too long. When I can home I went don and got the three veggie plants into the newly prepared bed.
Quite a busy day so chilling now.

Blue doesn’t often get in your pics, well not as often as Pandora does. Pandora is a bit like your shadow though, so not surprising really.
Blimey, the bed with the rhubarb looks a bit different in the after pic. Cracking job! I wish I was into gardening as that must be very satisfying. Luckily I’m not, it’s too much like hard work ð
The newly cut lawn, very neatly too from the looks of it, makes a real difference. The garden has had a lot of care and attention today. I would say you could have a rest day tomorrow, but you won’t ð
Yes, the garden has had a lot of attention today and is looking better for it. Quite a lot of work on that bed but hopefully the plants take before the weeds take hold again!

I have cooked some rhubarb as there was quite a lot and more there still to be cut.
