Keeping busy!

Yesterday evening I got the good quality colouring pencils out, they haven’t seen daylight for a while! Quite enjoyed a bit of relaxing colouring for a change.
I had a pretty rough night, the knee was extra troublesome and I ended up having a cuppa and doing a puzzle at 3 am on the recliner downstairs, and then stayed down there. The knee has been a bit painful today but decided to walk up to Tesco using the rollator, didn’t walk as easily as yesterday but it is still a great help and I didn’t need to have a sit down. It is interesting how it makes you aware of the camber of the pavements, really don’t notice they are sloping when just walking on them. Took one photo on the way there and another on the way back.
The lawn is quite long and the garden getting a bit on the wild side. I strimmer  round the edge of the lawn and was then going to do some hoeing and then trim the edges.
Emptying the garden cart in the front and took a photo of a colourful plant and two of the bee as couldn’t decide again.
I managed to trim along the main bed, also did quite a lot of other strimming, actually charged the battery three times!
I had to pop to the shop and then got tea. Have had a shower and ready to see if I can make it all the way through Eurovision!

  1. The colouring looks really nice. I can imagine it being a relaxing thing to do.
Really sorry to hear your night was a rough one. I bet you’re pooped this evening after getting up so early. You’ll definitely struggle to make it to the end of Eurovision tonight. Not that we’ll win!
At least you got out for a short walk. The rollater is going to prove to be a good investment.
You managed to get a bit of gardening done. The lawn definitely looks like it’s ready to be cut! But at least the edges are ready. The bees seem very happy with the results of your gardening too 😊
    I hope you stay awake.

  2. Was nodding off before it started, that doesn’t bode well!
Leg needs to hold up or the garden will get out of my control.
