Boot sale and latest idea!

We enjoyed our trip to the boot sale, I didn’t manage to go round all the stalls but sat in the car with my puzzle book while Darren toured the rest. I took some photos of some great models made by one of the stall holders. Bought another small one as I fell in love with it!

I bought the hand made earrings and a large jar which I hope Sher will like.
Darren drove back via the sea which was nice, although a little misty.
A couple of day ago I cut out foam to see if I could make my weeding stool into something I can actually use. Measured out material, really struggled to get the form in and worked out ties. I tried it indoors nd it may work, but actually using it outside will be the real test!
Dinner done and dusted, not more crafty stuff today.

  1. Even being able to get round a bit of the boot sale is better than being stuck at home. The models that chap makes are fantastic. I’d be very tempted to buy one of them each week 🙂 I love the little red house on the cotton reel. Looks like there are a few more very similar. I foresee you having a set before long. I quite like the yellow one. The earrings are lovely too. Very you 😄 That’s a nice coloured jar. I’m guessing she’ll be pleased with it, and if not it’d look good with lights in it.
The front does look a bit misty, but it’s been an up and down day here too weather wise. Looks good over the sea though.
I’m sure the modified stool will work fine. You’re pretty good at seeing solutions to problems. It definitely looks comfy. The only thing is that if it does work it means you’ll spend hours slaving in the garden and overdoing it! You can’t deny it 😄
    Enjoy a restful evening.

  2. It is good to get out, even if my walking is a bit restricted.
I am hoping the foam will be soft enough to let me kneel on it briefly. I tried sitting on it but it really squashed down so I was so low I could it get up. Will test the kneeling out when I decide to do some gardening.
