Travel day

Short entry today, left Rose about ten past nine and made my was into Peterborough. Didn’t buy advance tickets so got them when I arrived at the station. Both trains were fine and I had a bite to eat before catching the bus home. It was very foggy today so some misty shots from the moving train! I know, exciting stuff. I looked for the bridge but didn’t see it at all, just caught a pic as we went under it!!

I went to the shop for some milk and a miniature lily is opening in the front garden, very pretty.
Pandora was a bit stand offish when I got home, but did sit with me for a while when I got back from the shop!
I am quite tired so having a quiet evening, but a lovely surprise as Tina brought up something she had ordered for me. The set of Queen coins are great but there are two of the King Charles ones as well, chuffed to get mint ones of those and a great image of him I think.

  1. Yes it was very Misty this morning. Not easy to take pics of much at all really. I can recognise the bridge from that pic. Nobody else probably will 😊
Nice to get home for a little while, although before you know it you’ll be on the train on the way back! I’m sure Pandora was pleased to see you though. She had to be a bit offish to start with so you think she doesn’t really care. Cats are crafty. I’m sure you’ll struggle to get her off your lap tonight.
What a great present! I can imagine just how chuffed you are with it. As you say it’s great to get mint set of the coins with the queens head, but to get mint quality ones of Charles included is a great bonus. A very thoughtful presents.

  2. I don’t know why travelling makes you so weary, not feeling up to much tonight!
    Love the coins.
