I went into Hull this morning, Tina had a long meeting and I was just going to wander off and do a bit of shopping before we met up for lunch. She parked a little way from the city centre but I found my way in, but most of the photos are in parts of the town I don’t usually see. It was cold today, the wind was bitter and there was occasional icy rain! So, not much more writing but a lot of photos!I bought some toiletries and also a book caught my eye, it was the crow that swung it!
When Tina was finished we went to a garden centre and had lunch, I was ready for that as I had got quite cold wandering around!
Another quiet evening, although I am not feeling as tired now which is good.
It’s been a very chilly day here too. But Hull is such a nice place to be, and to take photos of. You have some cracking pics tonight. All very different, some artsy, some not. You always manage to find lots of different subjects. I really like the second one which is nearly black and white, and the one of The Pathway alley. But as I said, they’re all good. Almost makes it worthwhile nearly getting frostbite π₯Άπ I’m sure the lunch warmed you up and made it worthwhile. Plus it beats gardening and other chores!
ReplyDeleteA quiet evening sounds perfect after a bit of sightseeing in the cold.
Glad you’re not feeling so tired. Hopefully means you’re catching up with “normality” again!
I did enjoy looking at some different places even though it was cold. I really do like Hull, it is a very interesting city.
