Long, not overly productive day

Rose and I set off into town this morning as we were going to see about bank accounts and checking out a couple of things. The lady who meets folk in the bank listened to us and told us to join the queue. We waited for quite a while and the tiller said there was no way that we could set up for Margherita except on line and then she would need ID, which she doesn’t have! Margherita has been worried about how her fees will be paid so I called in at the town hall, but you cannot see anyone face to face anymore! We got a few new books to take to the care home and then we went to have some lunch.

We started to walk up to the care home but my leg was quite sore so we bused some of the way. I managed to establish how Marg’s fees will be paid a the office at the care home so was able to put her mind at rest on that.

We had a good visit and she wasn’t too cross with me for getting her more books! She showed me her quotations dictionary, really good, going to get a copy. Will be great if I get back into calligraphy.

We started walking back, then we carried on as there wasn’t a bus due, managed to walk back into town. We had a drink in the cafe I went into the other day before catching the bus home. Took another picture of some of the lamps.

My leg was pretty sore by the time I got home but it is obviously improving, I am going home for a few days tomorrow but coming back for. Meeting early next week.
