Good journey and nice visit!

I left home with Darren before seven so I had breakfast in a cafe on the station rather than going into Starbucks. Both train journeys were good, on time and not crowded.  No surprise on the first photo, the second was a ‘there but not there Tommy’ on the platform at Doncaster.

I got a taxi to Rose’s house and we had a cuppa and a chat. She was off to see her mum so I went and caught the bus into town, having got a key so that I could get in if I got home before her. I went to the town hall but you can’t see anybody now to get housing advice, it is only on the phone, I decided to look up Anya’s address and walk to her new house, 1.4 miles so not too bad. I had been cold earlier but walking there with the rucksack on meant I was well and truly warm when I arrived. We had a cuppa and a quick chat and I had a look round the very lovely house. Not at its best yet as they only moved in a week ago, she took some photos of me, not near boxes before she dropped me back at the shops near where Rose lives.

I got off at the shops because Rose had asked if I would get something in for tea, she has a shopping delivery due tomorrow.. this sign must be new as it is not been scribbled on, which is the norm in Orton!

We have chatted and had dinner and I have come upstairs to do the blog and then perhaps a puzzle quietly as it has been a long and quite full day. I had a different bed Buddy for a few minutes!
