I spent the rest of the morning hoeing and the walled garden and sorting out the outhouse which had become very cluttered. Rob, who keeps his very large lawn mower in there wouldn’t have been able to get to it easily when he needs to! I also washed out the bird baths and made sure the store had plenty of supplies in. After lunch I got the case ready and taken downstairs as it is an early start tomorrow, I am going into Hull with Darren when he goes to work. This is not a trip I relish as I have to try and get where my niece is going to be living sorted now that my sister is resident in a care home. Trying to practice my inner bulldog!
After lunch I had a short walk and these crocuses were open in the churchyard.
Some visitors to the feeder today but no different guests, this squirrel pic is cute though!
Sat with Pandora for a while before getting dinner and this evening got the watercolours out in an effort to distract myself!
That’s it for today.
ReplyDeleteYou seem to have gotten all the jobs sorted and supplies ready for your trip. I know you’d rather be staying there, and a know Pandora would like you to be staying there too. Hopefully you won’t be away for too long. I’m sure your inner bulldog will show itself at some point, specially if they p*£& you off 😊
The squirrel pic is great. It made me smile, so I hope it did it for you too. Any idea how they’re getting in yet?
I like the watercolour too. Did it work and distract you for a while?
Have a good trip tomorrow and I hope all goes well when you get here. We’ll meet up at some point for a meal and a chat. Take it easy.
The squirrel picture did and does make me smile! The watercolour did distract me for a while too and nice to do something a bit less fiddly,
ReplyDeleteI am sure I will be okay once I am on my way, no going back then!
Will catch up with you at some point.
