We stopped at a viewing point on our way to Garden Harlow Carr, a RHS garden. So took one more photo while there!
When we arrived we went to Betty’s Tea Rooms first, very posh! I had eggs florentine and Tina had the Imperial breakfast. The pot of tea was posh too!!
Lots of photos and a fair bit of walking round the grounds.
Those sculptures were stunning!
There was a craft area with stuff made by local people and Tina got me this because ai loved it!
We then made out way to Fountain Abbey, Tina hadn’t got her membership card for the National Trust with her, but after a while that was sorted. A lot more photos and a lot more walking and today it was really hot which isn’t great for either of us!
We had a lovely cup of tea and a look in the shop and then were on our way. Two more photos as Tina stopped as we could see the golf balls in the distance again!
Chilling now, home tomorrow!
Well I thought yesterday was good, but I think today tops it easily. The pics tell the story really well. You have some really good shots that make me very envious of your day. Even the golf balls add to it 😊
ReplyDeleteYour breakfasts look really good. Not sure which I’d go for. The eggs look lovely and Tina’s “stack” looks good too. I’d probably have to have both 😊
The giant head sculptures are really different.
The bag tag is perfect for you 😄
I love Fountain Abbey. What a glorious place just to visit, but also brilliant for pics. You had some great weather for both locations today, even though it was a bit hot.
I think it’s been a really nice trip for you both. Don’t think you could have chosen anywhere nicer. Shame it’s almost over now…………until the next one!
It was a good day, tiring but worth it. Both very good places to visit.
ReplyDeleteDrove up and down some very steep hills too, the steepest is 1:5.
The next few day on the blog will be a disappointment picture wise I think!
I doubt they’ll be a disappointment. You usually find something interesting to put on here 😊
ReplyDeleteThanks 🙂
