Had lunch with Tina the this afternoon decided to catch the bus up to Freeport. I had a drink there and looked on a couple of shops and then I walked home. Took a few photos, not too inspiring, although the first one I thought would be could to try and copy and use some of the watercolour techniques I had learnt.
Looks like optimistic daffodils appearing in front of the felled tree!
Not great colours but a hint of autumn!
It is a nicely maintained cemetery.
There is a garden on the way here me that has made a whole area like a zoo! Quite eye catching.
They also had a fabulous bike ornament in another part of the garden.
The last picture for today was a fuschia full of flower.
I was really tired when I had walked home, would even say I struggled to get here, then had to go out again as I had forgotten someone’s birthday!
Apart from playing with Pandora not intending to do a lot this evening!
I’m worn out just reading the things you’ve done, so I’m not at all surprised you were tired on your way home! Hopefully you’ll sleep well tonight though.
ReplyDeleteI’ll look forward to seeing the water colour rendition of the first pic. I think it’ll look good. I really like the third pic with the cemetery in one part and what I assume is a tree stump framing it.
The garden is rather unusual. But they obviously like it, so that’s all that matters. Bet you don’t get many flamingos in Hornsea 😊
Playing with Pandora is plenty to do this evening. She’s got more than enough energy to wear you out!
Got some steps in which was good, I think, although my legs weren’t too sure about that by the time I got home. We did do some leg stretching exercises this morning as well!
ReplyDeleteThat is a tree stump in the photo, thought it made for a different picture!
Bad weather forecast for tomorrow!
