Late entry today!

I have just come in from an evening out, so will go a bit back to front today. I caught the bus into Hull getting there about 4.30 pm. Met Darren at a coffee shop in St Stephens then we walked to City Hall as the radio had stated that the show was there but my email said New Theatre. City Hall was being renovated so we presumed my information was right. We had plenty of time so had tea at McDonalds and then had a leisurely walk to the theatre. Alexander Armstrong was doing stand up and it was a very funny and entertaining show. He sang a few funny songs, pretty good pianist too. Then lots of funny stories which had us both chuckling. Another reasonable walk back to the car via Tesco as Darren needed bread for his pack up. Got home a little while ago after a very good evening.

This morning the copper beach looked lovely in the sunlight, I took a couple of phots through the windows, which are very dirty, so they were no good. Took the camera out when I went to feed the birds.

I had another package to send off so walked to the post office. There was a sign in the window to say it will now be open for long hours seven days a week. I had noticed that the guy that runs the shop served me yesterday, so he has obviously trained as a post office counter man. That is really good news. It was a lovely morning so I walked up to the sea and had a drink at the dog walker cafe. Sea was gorgeous today.

This afternoon decided it was time to start cutting up the dowel I have had for weeks as the dot art class is happening next Tuesday. I couldn’t find a suitable saw, bought something at a local shop I couldn’t use, and then found I did have a suitable saw! Chaos reigned is I didn’t get a lot done, will try harder tomorrow!
