Blue was waiting to come in when I got back so fed and settled her and played with Pandora for a bit to try and settle her down, she has endless energy!
Last night Tina had given me a map and twenty nine letters that needed posting to houses that are going to take part in the ‘Living Advent Calendar’ this year. It stopped raining so I set off, it took me about an hour and a half and my legs were really complaining. The rain also came back for a while! The Old Hall had an impressive pumpkin entrance and I took a picture with the church in from a different angle from their garden.
I thought this house had a fantastic hedge!
When I was down to five letters to go I made my way to the front for a cuppa. Fantastic winter skies, even though it isn’t winter just yet.
As I sat with my cuppa the rain arrived. But had eased off before I finished the deliveries and made my way home.
Might give walking a miss tomorrow!
Dragging a trolly around in the rain, you are keen.....or do I mean daft. 😊 Your step count has been high lately so you must be due a couple of step free days pretty soon. Whether one of them will be tomorrow, we’ll wait and see. Twenty nine letters by hand too, are the postmen on strike up north?
ReplyDeleteThe new camera takes nice pics. Very good colours. Shame we don’t get the nice autumn colours like in America though.
Although I don’t like pink houses, the pink front door looks really nice decorated like that. Think I’m turning soft, or softer. Wonderful hedge too. Very colourful instead of the normal bland green.
The skies are nice and it does feel like winter on odd days. The woman in red by the sea wall is looking straight at you thinking “why are you taking my picture”
A lot of steps, but again you’ve seen lots of different things. I do lots of steps some days and see the same thing over and over....and over 😊
It was an interesting day in a way, walked along roads I haven’t been down before, will get to know Hornsea we’ll eventually! Looks like this weather is set to stay the same all week. I missed a package for the church today so will stay around tomorrow until they redeliver.
