I had a long time between trains at Doncaster so went to walk round the shopping centre. Saw a display of locks and thought I would take a photo, no camera. Even worse it is actually Darren’s camera! I tried to look in the case, not easy in a shopping centre, but it didn’t appear to be there. Took a couple of photos with the phone, the first isn’t quite in focus but you can get the general idea.
I almost forgot to say that getting off the first train I trod on my own foot on the step and sent spiralling along the platform, would have gone down if I hadn’t had the case! Jarred my leg a bit and felt a bit silly. But no harm done.
I had some lunch and then caught the second train and the bus. Was home here just before four. I have watered the garden, had some tea and more or less unpacked. At first Rachel said she couldn’t find the camera which was a bit disconcerting, but she has just texted to say it is found!
Got this photo in an email today, just think it is a great shot of a caiman.
A quiet evening ahead and an early night I think.
Quite an eventful trip (no pun intended) home, what with careering along the platform and half losing the camera. Alls well that ends well though, and you made it home safely. The camera will join you pretty quickly I would think knowing Rachel.
ReplyDeleteBack to the usual grind tomorrow I suppose.
Yes, I am sure the camera will be back before long now it is located.
ReplyDeleteI think it is the U3A monthly meeting tomorrow, then, weather permitting some gardening in the afternoon.
