Beverley and Freeport

A photo of the tomato greenhouse now complete with very small tomato plants!
This morning Tina and I went into Beverley to meet up with two of the ladies who are going on the Orkney trip with us. One of them had some leaflets and it sounds really interesting. We only have three days there but I am sure it will be lovely, quite exciting really. Tina drove home and I stayed in Beverley for a while and caught the bus home later. I walked down to the minster and passed an interesting public house. I didn’t go inside the monster as I had a longish walk back to the bus station and my bunions were hurting!

I walked up towards the bus station having a sit down in the garden next to St Mary’s church. There are two ‘there but not there’ soldiers in the garden.

I caught the bus home and after a while caught the bus up to Freeport. I sold my felting stuff to Aimee and went to deliver it. I missed the last bus home from there, at 3.30 pm, so walked home.
This evening I have made a start on the commission for a sign. So far so good.
A quiet evening now and Holby in a bit.

  1. Before you know it you’ll be eating home grown tomatoes. They always taste so much better straight off the vine. No messing with washing etc!
I think your spell checker has decided to insert monster instead of minster, but I got the gist of it 😊 I wonder if they get many passing monks in the pub?
The sign is looking good. Very neat and tidy lettering. I’m looking forward to seeing the finished product.
    Enjoy Holby.

  2. I corrected the typo!
Will be good to get some tomatoes later in the year.
It would have been fun to have picture of a monk leaving the pub!
Pleased with the lettering, especially as there are two double letters.
