Sunday Sunday.....

This morning I decided it was time to get the strimmer out that we have had for months, the area behind the colourful flower bed is beginning to look very wild. I managed to fix it together and then got the fifty metre extension lead out. What a star performance then developed, the lead had somehow got into the wrong position and the more I tried to roll it out the more tangle it became, then it began to rain so I had to get everything indoors. I should have taken pictures of the mess but the only one I took was of a lot of the cable round one of the stools while I had to unwind the whole thing, untangle it and then rewind it. Better exercise that gardening!
I got a nice salmon lunch for Tina and myself, no Darren as he was away for the weekend. After that I asked Tina to drive me up to
Freeport so that I could walk home. I haven’t been up for a few weeks now and Mags was on duty which was nice. Very busy today so I cleared away the stuff left from her craft class today. Some photos from my walk home.

On the way up Tina had said she couldn’t believe I had walked past this tree on the roundabout and haven’t seen it! She has a point!
Mags and I were talking about still life classes one of the ladies is planning, it inspired me to get the pencils out, and at least I will have a drawing of gourds when they have all gone mouldy!
Line of Duty tonight, should be good........

  1. Sounds like a pleasant day, apart from the tangled extension lead. Been there, done that. Bloody nuisance 😊
Nice to get up to Freeport for a while, and much easier when it’s only one way and downhill to walk. Shame all walking trips aren’t like that. Some nice photos too. Are they from the camera, if so they’re very good.
The drawing of the gourds is excellent. I really really like that. Bet it didn’t take long either! Talented people...humbug 😊
Really looking forward to Line of Duty.

  2. I am getting better at keeping the phone still when I take pictures, would still rather be using a camera, but it means one less thing to carry!
No, it didn’t take me too long to do the sketch, really pleased I got the inclination.
