Well meeting, we had a lady to chair exercises with up but this time concentrating on our hands, which was really good.i helped clear away and then called in at the first Dememtia Support coffee morning. Great atmosphere there and very well supported.
This afternoon I went out to finish clearing the area I had been working on, but a few feathers making me suspect a blackbird may have been caught changed my mind. Started to clear the ivy and area between the bushes as Blue lies in wait there for the birds to come down. I took a before picture but couldn’t remember where I took it from and think the mountain of ivy was in the way anyway.
I removed lots of dead branches and some that weren’t yesterday dead as they were scratching my face and making it difficult to get to the ivy.
A picture of the cleared area and the amount of ivy and branches, plus some debris that had been thrown over from the park!
That ivy is unbelievably strong, I nearly went over backwards a couple of times trying to pull it out. I did carry on with the bed I was clearing after that, so a fairly good afternoons work.
After tea I hung the newest gecko in the bathroom.
Yesterday I bought a ball shaped spider, a sort of stress ball and when you squeeze it colourful bubbles come out! It really amuses me, will try not to do it too often or it will break!
Another varied day for you today. No one could ever accuse you of sitting around idly! That looks like a lot of garden debris again today. You’ll get the upper hand eventually, assuming it doesn’t kill you first. Take it easy out there.
ReplyDeleteThe gecko looks good on the wall. I’m sure you’ll keep adding more. It’s surprising how many you seem to come across while you’re bargain hunting.
Great spider! I’ve seen something similar to that before, think it was just a ball someone had.
It has been a varied day and I am slowly getting the garden under control. Although there are still a lot of parts that haven’t been touched yet!
ReplyDeleteQuite a few geckos now and all very different.
I have seen squeeze things like the spider before, but never a spider I’d you see what I mean!
