This afternoon the craft group met here and I had drawn a dragon to make into a card for Darren. I have finished it off this evening.
After craft group I went out to use the strimmer after finding out this morning that it didn’t work the other day because I had thought the cutting wire protector was the cutter! That had Tina in stitches and will be another one to the list of my silly moments for them all to pull my leg over! It did work this evening but the photos weren’t worth taking space for.
When I came in Tina said she would take me down the front so I could have fish and chips. That was lovely and the sea looks a different colour in the evening because the the light coming from a different direction.
We spent one pound each on the arcade machines and then Tina drove up to Mappleton to. Have a look at the sea there. It was chilly but lovely and the view over the church was dramatic.
The camera is back to the evening photos taken with it.
Amazing colours for an amazing cake. It’s humongous! Definitely a fork job as I can’t imagine anyone being able to hold a slice of it 😊 Good luck cutting it too!
ReplyDeleteGreat personalised card too.
I’m still having a little chuckle now about the strimmer.
It seems to be the week for chips. Chicken and chips and now fish and chips. But it is the seaside, and they always taste better there. Some nice pics, and as you say a nice light when it gets a bit later in the day. Really like the last one of the church.
Glad you’ve got the camera back now, but it’s good to know you can use the phone in emergencies.
Quite a varied day today and some results.
ReplyDeleteNice trip out this evening, best cut down on the chips though!
Won’t live the strimmer episode down in a hurry!
