When Tina and I were in town yesterday we saw some lovely clear saucers on sale and Tina suggested they would make nice tea light holders. So in the evening I did a bit of decoration onto them and got some tea lights that had plastic surrounds rather that metal ones. They looked quite attractive when done.
Doesn't help that I put them on a pattered foot stool to take the picture, but you get the general idea! Because of the mince pie mayhem yesterday we did go to Sainsbury's early for breakfast and I bought mince pies to take to the bazaar. Darren joined us for breakfast, but he is away this weekend so didn't run the stall with me this year. I had quite a selection of goods and took a couple of pictures of the stall when it was set up.

It was a busy few hours but I managed to take over £100, not sure what the total of the whole event was but imagine it was a success. Tina and I helped clear away after and get the hall ready for tomorrows service. We left home about 7.45 am so neither of us feel like doing much except vegetating now! I have been getting emails from Photobox to say I had a £5 credit. Decided to order a canvas using some of my sunset pictures.  It was waiting for me when I got home. It is 16 inches square and I am absolutely delighted with it.
Tonight I am looking forward to Strictly, I am sure there will be some great dances.

  1. The stall looks great. Glad you do some stuff and made some money for the church. Maybe next year I'll make it there to help too. The canvas should definitely occupy a space on the wall, if there is one! Enjoy Strictly, I'll miss it tonight. Skegness is a bit breezy today.
