When Tina and I went shopping on Friday I spotted a little china train in a gift shop window. I went in and asked where they were and the display one was the only one left. After that I caused mayhem as they said they would get it for me but it was right in the middle of a pretty large window and at the front as well. The gap to get into the window was small with all sorts of things displayed near the entrance! One of the ladies did manage to get it out with breaking anything and it was even more reduced which was an extra bonus (would have bought it if it hadn't of been after creating such a problem for them!) It didn't light up straight away but Tina sorted it out for me and it is really cute.
This morning I decided it was time to go and visit the hut, I was a bit achy so Tina dropped me off down at the front. It was a seriously rough night but the beach looked pretty calm today.
There was rain away in the distance and some sunshine, so there was a bit of a rainbow over the sea which was a lovely surprise.
I sat in the hut and read for a while, it was very relaxing, I even dozed off for a few minutes. A crow came near for a visit!
I spent a bit of time watching the seagulls on the sea.
Another seagull on the sea, the waves sere beginning to break by then.
There were yachts out on the bay and when I took this shot I had 'I saw three ships go sailing by' running round in my head all the way home!
One last shot of the castle before I headed for home.
When I was in I sorted through the bazaar stuff and the craft stuff from last week and got it tidied away. When Tina came in we went and had lunch at Teasmaid and since then I have been sorting through Christmas gifts and have started some wrapping. I may even get around to writing some cards this evening you never know! Looking forward to the Strictly results show.

  1. Love the train. Is it staying white, or are you tempted to add to it?
Nice day for a bit of time in the beach hut, and a rainbow too, can't be bad. Like the nearly silhouette castle.
    Strictly is getting exciting tonight!
