This morning was bright but windy, I had another package to send off so left quite early to walk to town. Nearly all the pansies I bought have been eaten by the slugs but one of the primulas I planted last year is looking lovely and a welcome sight when I left the house.
A few of the other primulas are coming into bud as well, good news that they are not a favourite snack for the slugs! The walk into town was pleasant even though the wind was cold. On the way back I called into a butchers to get mince and some fresh veg, made two large lasagnes when I got home, one with mince and the other with roast vegetables. There will be some of the meat one left for Darren when Tina and I are away tomorrow night. When I had cleared up the kitchen I took a walk to the park. Lots of terns there today rather than the large herring gulls that are usually there.
This one obviously didn't want company! Then a resting tern by the water.
And a dozing pigeon!
I wandered down to the sea as well, a bit chilly but worth it to sea and hear the waves. Took a picture of the pagoda from the road on the way home.
Then a picture through the trees as I passed.

  1. Some great pictures today again. Love the flowers, the bird in flight, and my favourite is the last one, the sky through the trees. Hopefully you'll get a few good opportunities in the next couple of days.
