Today has been chilly in the wind and wet, but not as wet as was forecast. I had decided I would get down to the hut today regardless of the weather. The wind was behind me as I made my way down so it actually felt quite warm. The sky was fairly clear and this first picture I just liked what I saw!
The wind from the west and the flooded car park near the beach meant that the water was washing onto the beach and was even cutting a channel.
With the wind behind the hut was sheltered and quite warm. I left my bag and books in the hut, took off my shoes and socks and went for a barefoot walk on the beach. Took this picture actually walking in the water (only at the edge).
I have made a couple of simple templates since I got home and have started to add a little decoration onto some plain Christmas stockings that I bought quite cheaply. Hopefully we will at least get the price I paid for them at the Church bazaar.
I wonder who will be going on Strictly tonight, I bet it won't be Jeremy!

  1. The beach looks really nice, but not sure I'd have braved paddling in the sea. It made for a good picture though, a slightly different aspect.

Hopefully lots of people will turn up for the bazaar, and you'll sell a fair bit. If I weren't going to be in Skegness that weekend, I'd have arranged my visit to coincide with it.

  2. Well Jermey had to go. You were brave to paddle, don't go getting a cold before Christmas.. The stockings look very attractive I'm sure you will get the correct price.
