I went out reasonably early to finish off planting the pots out the front. Also emptied and refilled another long one from the back garden that had travelled with me from Peterborough. They all have a lot of bulbs that will come up in the spring, and hopefully the pansies will survive in the pots. I planted 24 in the front garden and they looked lovely but now they have been well and truly ravaged by the slugs and snails!
I still have quite a lot of bulbs (overdid it a tad!) so may get some cheap containers and plant some up for the church bazaar. Although we are into November I do still have some summer flowers looking quite lovely.

I spent quite a bit of the middle of the day making the pool table cover. I decided to do French seams so really had to concentrate so that they ended up on the inside! No picture, will post one when it is in place if it fits okay! That is a while off yet though. I have been packing a case for my few days at the caravan this week. I am looking forward to it and am going to a class at the stained glass place, which is quite near to the caravan park, on Wednesday morning. I have been sending for some crochet patterns on Ebay to take along to the Cake and Crochet sessions to give us a bit of variety and new things to try. I myself will try and get the cardigan finished this week, but don't hold your breath!

  1. The pots look really nice. I hope passers by don't think the same, or one might nip back at night and relieve you of a few! Prophet of doom, me?

I'll get some pics of the pool table cover as soon as its in place, and let you have them straight away to post. I'm looking forward to seeing it myself. Thanks for all the effort you've put into it.

Fingers crossed for a bit of mild, dry weather for next week.

    1. Let's hope the criminals around here are the sort that like coming in and helping themselves, not the garden fancier type!!
