I will write the blog entry early today as I walked to the stained glass centre again this morning and won't be going out anymore today as I have upped the exercise this week and feel like a feet up afternoon. It has also clouded over and the wind is getting up so the bad weather is on the way. It was bright and sunny this morning, I was going to catch the bus into Cayton village but managed to get to the entrance in time to see the bus go by! As they are only one an hour I set off on foot again. I took another picture of the converted windmill house from a slightly different angle, and also everything looks better in the sunshine!
Although I have now been there three times this week I haven't actually taken a sign that stands at the end of the lane where the centre is.
It is a very pleasant tea room and really busy, certainly worth a visit after you have experienced the delightful exhibits. I had done a rough sketch of a coaster to take with me and have taken a picture of the attempt prior to firing.
I am really pleased with the Christmas tree decorations and they all fused together successfully.
I will collect the coaster when I visit the stained glass place next, which will probably be when Mike visits again as I know he wants to go there. I walked into Cayton village from the centre and cauught the bus from there. I have started making one of the sleeves of the cardigan, still a way to go and the edging is going to be quite a challenge!

  1. Love the spider coaster, bet it'll look really good after its fused!
The other decorations turned out really well. You should be very pleased with them. You'll maybe need a bigger Christmas tree though.

You've had a busy week considering you were supposed to be on holiday!
