Last night I was embroidering  embellishments for some sweet little bags that I bought which were plain. I was pleased with them and this morning I got the adhesive backing out and ironed it onto the back of the embellishments and all was going swimmingly. Then, as I started to iron the decoration onto the bag, the bag melted all over the iron!! A few more experiments and another bag bit the dust, this time the bag melted onto the brown paper that I used to protect the bag and iron! So then I resorted to fabric glue, suggested by Darren. These bags are for the church bazaar.
I had a shopping delivery at 11 am then I decided to got to the ceramic studio.  a friend sent me a picture of a mug and the message on it was just brilliant. I really had to have a copy of it, but I decided to have it on a plate that I can display, not eat off.
This just made me laugh and I wanted a version myself! I made risotto for dinner this evening, have never cooked a lot with rice but it turned out really well. The 'Throw Down' is on tonight, I am enjoying it very much.

  1. Shame me about the bags, but you got there in the end. I hope someone buys them after all that effort!
I absolutely love the plate, very apt, I can now understand why you wanted a version of it for yourself :-)
