Sea and helping out

I had a package to send off this morning and some stuff to drop off at the Eco Hut which opens for a few hours on a Wednesday. So I tokay steady walk to the post office and then up to the sea. Was a bit achy today so had a drink by the sea. The sky looked very different when taking photos in each direction.

A few more, the sun added interest.

The car park near the sea front is quite small and it has, or should I say had, a large green area behind it. Looks like it is set to be a bigger car park!
This fabulous display was outside the town hall.
After lunch I had just started a bit of work in the garden when Carol phoned. So I went round to help her and Sal as they are clearing out the shop ready to give notice soon. I helped out for about and hour and a half and then went along to get my flu jab.
I took some supplies for the birds down to the greenhouse.there is another self sown sunflower but this one has two equal heads, haven’t had any like that before.
Another attempt at taking a I tire of a tiny spider, must find some bigger ones!
There is still a bit to do on the side path, like weeds in the paving but it is looking a lot better!
Considering I haven’t felt too bright today have done a fair bit. Will help Carol and Sal again tomorrow afternoon providing I don’t have a dire reaction to the flu jab!

  1. You’ve done very well today all things considered. I know you weren’t feeling too good this morning when I spoke to you.
You have some great pictures again this evening. I particularly like the first one tonight, very very moody. The fourth one is also one of my favourites. The others are very good but those two just seem to stand out. Definitely worth the trip out this morning. That is a nice display outside the town Hall. They do seem to like to make the place colourful.
I think you really need tarantulas if you’re going to take pictures of spiders with your phone. Might prove to be a little bit easier.
The side bit of the walled garden looks so different now to what it was before you started tidying it up. It’s such a shame to know that before long weeds will raise there ugly heads again!
I hope you get a good nights sleep tonight and feel better in yourself in the morning.

    1. Feels like it has been quite busy, although I have had several rests on the recliner. The sun and clouds does make for more dramatic pictures. The flower displays and baskets are really well looked after in town.
